Roles and Responsibilities
- Execute the design, analysis, or evaluation of assigned projects using sound engineering principles and adhering to business standards, practices, procedures, and product / program requirements. This work would include mechanical engineering for Hydro Generators and systems.
- Has knowledge of best practices and how own area integrates with others COEs/systems like Turbine, Auxiliaries and BOP.
- Do analytical design calculations, Prepare Basic design layouts, 3 D models and drawings. Review drawings and BOM. Conduct cross-functional and internal design reviews.
- Provide technical support and solution to supply chain, manufacturing and site installation teams.
- Acts as a mentor for colleagues with less experience. Lead projects with complex contractual requirements. Discuss technical solution with client.
Required Qualifications
- This role requires advanced experience in the Engineering/Technology & Mechanical Component. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college.
- 10-15 years of overall experience in product design and min. 5 years of experience in Generator or Rotating electrical machine design.
- Proficient in Autocad and any 3D modelling software.

- Strong oral and written communication skills. Demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs. Established project management skills.
