Job Summary:

The Clean Room Technician will be responsible for cleaning and handling LM turbine parts in accordance with all standard procedures and quality processes.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:.
• Ensure strict compliance with current and forthcoming wastewater regulations.
• Facilitate the transfer of cleaned components to FPI and bench inspectors.
• Monitor and replenish chemical supplies as needed.
• Conduct pre-cleaning inspections of parts.
• Safely transport components between designated areas.
• Act as a catalyst for process enhancement initiatives.
• Provide guidance and instruction to new team members.
• Proficiency in operating cranes, forklifts, and related equipment.
• Undertake additional duties as delegated.

Basic Qualifications/Requirements:
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with LM gas turbine components and machinery, including Quality Alerts, Standard
Practices, and GEK.
• Capability to lift objects weighing up to 40 lbs and adapt to varied work environments.
• Strong organizational skills, with an emphasis on meeting deadlines.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities.
• Demonstrated capacity to manage multiple projects concurrently.

Desired Characteristics:
• Previous experience with LM turbines preferred.
• Aptitude for comprehending and executing work scope instructions.
• Proficiency in computer usage, particularly with ARMS software.
