The Role

As our new Legal Operations Student Worker, you will support Genmab's global Legal team in improving the way we work with contracts, legal processes, and legal-owned systems. You will get hands-on experience in contract review, contract template maintenance, legal research, and operational support. You'll be joining the Legal team at an exciting time where we are adopting new, more digital ways of working.

This role is a great fit if you are proactive, detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and enjoy communicating with different stakeholder groups. You'll work closely with lawyers, Legal Operations colleagues to support line of business stakeholders, and together with our other Student Worker you will help strengthen efficiency and collaboration within the department as well as with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

Contracting & Legal Support

  • Support lawyers with contract-related tasks, including populating templates, proofreading, drafting under guidance, and assisting with basic contract review.
  • Participate in improving and maintaining contract templates, including formatting, version control, and quality checks.
  • Assist with trademark and domain portfolio management, including data validation and documentation updates.
  • Help prepare legal documents and support processes related to signing, notarization, certification, and external archiving.
  • Conduct targeted legal research and prepare summaries or documentation for colleagues in the Legal team.


Operational Support


  • Support onboarding to new processes and digital tools introduced to the Legal team.
  • Assist with user access management in legal-owned systems (setup, permission updates, deactivation).
  • Help maintain and update legal-owned systems, including data quality checks and routine maintenance tasks.
  • Provide user support and direct more complex issues to the Legal Operations system specialist.
  • Help design and maintain user guides, FAQs, and training materials to support smooth adoption of digital tools and processes.

Communications, Metrics & Presentations


  • Contribute to drafting and formatting internal communications, newsletters, and presentations for the Legal team.
  • Help gather metrics or reports for the Legal team.
  • Support content structure, consistency, and branding in PowerPoints and other materials.

Requirements


  • Actively enrolled in a Danish University BSc or MSc in Business Administration, Law, IT, or a related field.
  • Minimum 3-4 years of studies remaining.
  • Available 15-20 hours per week.
  • Excellent command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Proactive communicator who enjoys stakeholder interaction and supporting others.
  • Strong interest in systems, data, and digital tools; proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
  • Service-minded and collaborative: this role is primarily supportive and requires a helpful, solution-oriented approach.
  • Extremely thorough and detail-oriented, with a structured way of working and a high standard of quality.
  • Curious, eager to learn, and comfortable navigating a fast-paced, evolving environment.
  • Ability to manage confidential information with discretion.
