Job Summary

Mirror Controls international (MCi), a Flex company, is the global market leader in mechatronics solutions for automotive rear-view side mirrors. With over 80 million annual units produced on 3 continents. In addition MCi is expanding its product portfolio to other Automotive actuation solutions such as Active Aerodynamics & Motor cooling management.

We are currently looking for a Software Engineer, based in Woerden, NL .

Here is a glimpse of what you'll do

• Design and develop real-time embedded software for existing and new products, ensuring innovative and manufacturable solutions.
• Analyze high-level designs, propose detailed module designs, and use technical know-how for code efficiency.
• Review developed code (including colleagues'), test quality and functionality, debug and troubleshoot as needed.
• Participate as a point of contact in multidisciplinary project teams, liaising closely with the Architect to meet design principles.
• Document all required software data, coordinate version control, and ensure timely realization of software deliverables.

• Bachelor's degree (MSc preferred) and relevant experience.
• Strong knowledge of C, C++, Python, communication busses (LIN, CAN, SPI, I2C), and SW/HW architectures.
• Familiarity with V-model development, Scrum, ASPICE, Functional Safety, and Cyber Security is a plus.
• Excellent time management, analytical thinking, and communication skills; English required, Dutch willingness to learn.
