Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we're looking to add a Failure Analysis Engineer located in Guadalajara, North Campus .

Reporting to the Process Engineering Manager, the Failure Analysis Engineer role is responsible for diagnosing, analyzing, and resolving failures in complex electronic products through advanced troubleshooting techniques, functional testing, and root cause analysis. This role supports manufacturing operations by developing, validating, and improving functional test solutions while ensuring product quality, reliability, and process efficiency .

What a typical day looks like:

• Perform failure analysis on electronic assemblies, printed circuit boards (PCBs), and finished products.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose electronic failures using oscilloscopes, multimeters, logic analyzers, and other laboratory equipment.
• Interpret electrical schematics, circuit diagrams, datasheets, and technical documentation.
• Develop, implement, and validate functional test solutions for new products and manufacturing processes.
• Provide technical support to manufacturing operations for complex product and process issues.
• Analyze and debug microcontroller-based and embedded systems.
• Develop scripts, tools, and software applications to automate testing and data collection.
• Generate technical reports documenting failures, corrective actions, and process improvements.
• Collaborate with Design Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, and Process Engineering teams to implement corrective and preventive actions.
• Support New Product Introduction (NPI) activities, including test development and validation.
• Create and maintain documentation, procedures, and standards related to troubleshooting and functional testing.

The experience we're looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's Degree in Electronics, Mechatronics, Electrical, Automation, Computer Engineering, or related field
• Intermediate English
• Knowledge of electronic circuit troubleshooting and diagnostics.
• Experience in Electronics Manufacturing
• Functional Test (FCT) Development & Validation
• Failure Analysis & Electronics Troubleshooting
• Test Automation & Data Acquisition
• Knowledge and understanding of functional test scripts.
• Experience supporting manufacturing test stations and diagnostic tools
• Experience with routers, switches, and servers
