Institutional Associate Director

Overview

The Opportunity:

The Institutional Associate Director is a key asset to Fisher Investments Japan's institutional sales efforts building mutual understanding with prominent institutional prospective clients, providing updates on our firm and strategies and identifying opportunities to build long term and successful relationships. You will accomplish this by performing outreach on behalf of the Institutional Group Sales Relationship Managers, helping them strategically oversee and build their territory.

The Day-to-Day:

• Regularly contact institutional prospective clients to uncover business opportunities
• Assess prospective client's interest, conduct introductory meetings with prospective clients via telephone, explain our structure and strategies, gather and document core information from prospective clients
• Set appointments; meet minimum calling and appointment setting goals; work with Portfolio Specialists to help maintain and improve consultant relationships
• Help create and maintain the Institutional Group mailing list for the periodic distribution of marketing materials
• Fulfil sales support requests
• Oversee assigned operational tasks to completion
• Identify, create and develop documentation for group
• Support the growth of the business through various projects
• Follow group and firm procedures
• Identify potential process improvements and recommend solutions
• Identify elevations and routes appropriately
• Responsible for properly handling confidential documents

• Fluent in Japanese and English
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required
• Previous experience in asset management is a plus
• Ability to adapt to changes in a fast paced, team environment
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to prioritize workload and manage time across various tasks
