Description
The End User Experience Engineer creates, develops, and installs solutions to complex technical, procedural, and logistical problems, providing expertise for the end user experience and desktop services. The ideal candidate performs complex diagnostics to resolve problems related to the desktop environment and relies upon technology best practices and research findings to improve desktop performance for local and virtual environments. The person in this role develops the desktop strategy and maintains processes and technologies that deliver a consistent end user experience and provides IT solutions and services.
What You'll Do
- Manage and optimize endpoint services using Microsoft Intune, Autopilot, and related endpoint management technologies, including device provisioning, application deployment, software updates, patch management, and compliance monitoring.
- Support endpoint security initiatives through the administration of Microsoft Cloud PKI, Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC), AppLocker, and endpoint compliance policies.
- Develop and maintain automation solutions using Azure Automation, Logic Apps, Azure Functions, PowerShell, Python, or similar technologies to improve operational efficiency and reduce manual effort.
- Monitor the health, performance, adoption, and compliance of Microsoft 365 and endpoint services, producing operational and security reports using Microsoft Graph and other reporting tools.
- Provide Level 2 and Level 3 engineering support for desktop platforms, investigate complex technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and recommend improvements to endpoint architecture, security posture, and user experience.

Qualifications
What We're Looking for
- Minimum 5 years of experience in endpoint management, desktop engineering, or endpoint security within enterprise environments.
- Hands-on experience administering Microsoft Intune, including device lifecycle management, policy configuration, application deployment, and compliance management.
- Experience designing, implementing, and supporting Windows Autopilot zero-touch deployment solutions.
- Knowledge of endpoint security technologies, including Microsoft Cloud PKI, Windows Defender Application Control (WDAC), AppLocker, and device compliance frameworks.
- Experience developing automation solutions using PowerShell, Python, Azure Automation, Azure Functions, Logic Apps, or similar technologies.
- Experience generating operational, security, or compliance reporting using Microsoft Graph, Microsoft 365 administration tools, or comparable platforms.
