Description
This role is critical in supporting our current Mainframe-based batch data processing while driving the migration to AWS cloud platforms. You will combine technical expertise with to ensure seamless delivery, data integrity, and process optimization during this transformation.
Main Responsibilities
- Manage complex data processing projects, including those involving multiple products and trade dates, ensuring timelines and quality standards are met.
- Ensure data accuracy, formatting, and compliance with client expectations across both legacy and cloud-based platforms.
- Provide technical consultation to our teams and clients, guiding them through complex workflows and system transitions.
- Improve process improvements by analyzing workflows and implementing automation or optimization strategies.
- Support project planning and estimation, contributing to resource allocation and prioritization for client deliverables.
- Coach junior analysts, encouraging skill development and maintaining high-quality deliverables.
- Collaborate to troubleshoot production issues, resolve system discrepancies, and maintain compliance with standards.
- Participate in migration efforts from Mainframe to AWS, ensuring data integrity, comparability, and operational continuity throughout the transition.
- Develop validation strategies, including test planning, execution, and documentation of results.
- Identify and recommend tool enhancements to improve efficiency and system performance.
- Report on system behavior differences, escalating critical issues and ensuring resolution.
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of processes, standards, and lessons learned to support knowledge sharing and future improvements.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
- 5+ years of experience in a technical environment. • Prior technical experience at Experian.Mainframe knowledge (JCL, batch processing) to support legacy systems during migration.
- SQL expertise (including SparkSQL, PrestoSQL) for data analysis, validation, and processing on cloud platforms.
- Experience with AWS services (e.g., S3, RDS, Lambda) or similar cloud technologies.
- Experience managing complex projects and delivering high-quality results.
- Familiarity with data validation, testing strategies, and quality assurance practices.
- Solid project management and basic leadership experience.
