ELS is hiring for the position of Lease Analyst in Scottsdale, Arizona.
What you'll do:
The Lease Analyst ensures the organized and efficient implementation of rent increase and lease information across a portfolio of properties.
Your job will include:
- Review and approve monthly rent increases and ensure the accuracy of updated leases.
- Audit turnover reports and verify the accuracy of reported rents.
- Recommend and update community lease types when necessary.
- Oversee the timely and accurate mailing of rent increase letters.
- Serve as an escalation point for issues with rent charges.
- Analyze and approve rent increase calculations per lease type and oversee updates to existing leases with new language and/or market rents.
- Review reports of late fee profiles per lease type for each community.
- Scan reports for potential errors in rent charges or credits and ensure their correction.
- Oversee the new lease approval process.

Experience & skills you'll need:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in Business, Accounting or Finance, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
- 3+ years of lease administration experience in a residential real estate environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant programs.
- Meticulous attention to detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills.
- Experience with automated accounting and rental software.
- Valid driver's license, good driving record and current auto insurance.
- Willingness and ability to travel as necessary.
