Eaton's Aerospace Division is currently seeking a Supply Chain Project Lead to join our team! This position is based at the Torrance, CA facility.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $95737.5 - $140415.0 a year.

What you'll do:

Position Overview:
The Supply Chain Project Lead is responsible for managing the successful planning and execution of supply chain activities for Torrance NPI projects and strategic purchasing categories by driving and enforcing standard practices.

Specific tasks associated include aligning the Supply Chain to meet NPI project critical path requirements, ensuring compliance with customer flow-down requirements (offset, DFAR, quality, etc.), and ensuring success of the overall project sourcing strategy.

Project Lead drives selection strategy for new and existing part numbers. Includes onboarding, negotiation, order placement, value analysis, and measurement & control of supplier performance.

Essential Responsibilities:

• Lead the supply chain workstream of site NPI projects. Responsible for both schedule and cost adherence through strategic source selection for multiple parts and across multiple suppliers.
• Interfaces with divisional and corporate supply chain teams to develop and align sourcing strategies that drive cost out or mitigate price increases for new and existing parts.
• Engage commodity lead and drive supplier negotiations ensuring Non-Disclosure (NDA), Long Term Agreements (LTA), or other contractual vehicles include protection of Eaton Intellectual Property Rights (IPR) and Proprietary data.
• Develop, with the IPT, the Risk Management/Mitigation plan and ensure the plan is fully understood, deployed and periodically reviewed by the IPT and Eaton management.
• Issue purchase orders in MRP system to suppliers. Quote, analyze quantity to order for assigned purchased parts for the site.
• Maintain SAP data Integrity. Update PIR, lead time, MOQ (etc.) for new and existing part numbers to reflect market conditions and as required by Enovia change request actions.
• Coordinate and co-lead supplier delivery performance.
• Maintain MRP health by aligning PO dates, managing PO quantities, resolving PO/Invoice discrepancies, and ensuring quick turnaround of suppliers RMAs
• Expedite critical orders throughout the supply chain, works with divisional supply chain team for escalations.
• MESH Champion
• Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in (Supply Chain Management, Manufacturing or Engineering ) from an accredited institution
  • Minimum of Three (3) years of experience in Supply Chain, Program Management, Manufacturing or Engineering
  • This position requires access to export-controlled information. To conform to U.S. Government export regulations applicable to that information, applicant must be a U.S. person, defined as a (i) U.S. citizen or national, (ii) U.S. lawful, permanent resident (green card holder), (iii) refugee under 8 U.S.C. § 1157, or (iv) asylee under 8 U.S.C. § 1158.
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates that currently reside within the immediate geographical area of 50 miles of Torrance, CA will be considered. Active Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation
    Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • Preferred Qualifications
  • Understanding of Supply Chain Management operational concepts surrounding purchasing, logistics, incoming product inspection and inventory control
  • Supply Chain Commodity Management, Contracts or Financial planning experience
  • Strong IT and Communication skills - capability to develop and present executive level presentations to large audiences
  • Possess excellent problem-solving skills in complex and demanding situations that undergo continuous priority changes.
  • Worked in Aerospace and Military Plants and/or experience with Engineer to order production or low volume high mix production
  • Advanced excel capabilities.
  • SAP advanced user with solid knowledge of BOM management, items master setup
  • Experience negotiating with suppliers to obtain price reduction and improve delivery dates.

CPIM, CSCP, and/or PMP certification
  • Proven experience selecting and choosing suppliers for new and existing part numbers.
