Eaton's IS Filtration division is currently seeking a Project Coordinator. This is a Full-Time role, working M-F Daylight hours. This position has the ability to be Hybrid-Remote (2 days a week from home) and can be located at either our Chanhassen, MN or Tinton Falls, NJ location.

Eaton is a leader in liquid filtration which helps its customers make clean and pure products spanning a range of industries such as pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, industrial and municipal water, petrochemicals, marine, automotive, agriculture and construction equipment, or power generation.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $83250.0 - $122100.0 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

What you'll do:

The Project Coordinator is responsible for supporting customers, distributors, and sales representative organizations by promptly handling all complex engineered project orders submitted for the filtration product lines. Orders managed by the Project Coordinator are technically and administratively complex, often require interaction with the customer, and require consistent administration that ranges from weeks to months from the time an order is received until it is shipped.

Job Responsibilities

• Performs all standard customer service responsibilities such as order entry, expediting, credits/RMA's, proof of delivery, etc.
• Acts as the primary interface with the customer network of reps and distributors in North America as well as intercompany globally with Europe and Asia. Coordinates all aspects of orders between the customer and manufacturing. Works closely with Technical Service and Engineering to facilitate customer drawing approvals on Engineered to Order products. Keeps management aware of any potential problems.
• Reviews all orders upon receipt for compliance to the quotation and standard terms and conditions. Responsible for understanding and administering all the technical and commercial requirements of the order. Immediately advises customer and representative of any conflict and begins resolution.
• Attends departmental meetings with Sales, Engineering, and Manufacturing to provide insight into priorities and prepares reports for management showing status of each project job. Elevates any potential issues to immediate supervisor.
• Reviews production schedules covering all phases of the order through Engineering, Credit and Manufacturing with the customer. Ensures all orders stay on schedule and/or advises supervisor of potential delays and communicates with the customer. As required, schedules customer meetings during the initial order review, during the drawing approval process as well as during the manufacturing portion of the job.
• Advises the Technical Sales team when customer changes have been made during the drawing approval process and assists in determining when these changes require corresponding price adjustment.
• Submits Installation, Operation, and Maintenance manuals for assigned projects as required to stakeholders. These range from standard pre-prepared documents to highly detailed, technical manuals. Also provides Quality documentation to Eaton Representatives and others as necessary.

Qualifications:

Basic (Required) Qualifications:

  • Bachelors degree from an accredited institution and 3+ years of Account Management/Project Management experience OR HS Diploma/GED and 5+ years of Account Management/Project Management experience
  • Must be able to work in the United States without corporate sponsorship now and within the future
  • No relocation benefit is being offered for this position. Only candidates within a 50-mile radius of Chanhassen, MN / Tinton Falls, NJ will be considered. Active-Duty Military Service member candidates are exempt from the geographical area limitation.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience utilizing Sales Force
  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as purchase orders, specification requirements, procedure manuals, government and international shipping and trade regulations, letters of credit and other correspondence.
  • Ability to speak effectively on the phone and before groups of customers and employees of the organization.
