Eaton's Electrical sector is currently seeking a Material Operations Production Scheduler to join our team. This position is based at our Mississauga, ON facility and offers benefits from day 1.

The expected annual salary range for this role is $58000 - $72000 with bonus.

Reporting to the Satellites Material Ops Leader, and a representative of a plant within a Network, the Materials Ops Production Scheduler is responsible for supporting execution and adhering to planned volumes and dates for the Satellites performance across core business objectives such as inventory, cost and customer satisfaction. The Production Scheduler's focus lies on supporting short-term frozen horizon across the Canadian Satellites. The role will have direct linkage to the SIOP process, specifically for execution of the Supply & Operations Execution plan, communicating procurement requirements to vendors while maintaining an acceptable level of inventory by SKU to support the marketing forecast and Fill Rate service level targets to support internal and external customers. The Production Scheduler will directly support key material-related functions and drive Supply Chain related Initiatives to improve overall effectiveness and efficiency.

What you'll do?

• Provide support to production schedulers responsible for schedule attainment across the Satellites
• Review and analyze short-term inventory performance (30, 60, 90-day horizon) vs forecast and provide analysis, including KPIs, for management decision making.
• Communicating the S&OE plan to operations and the COE for material procurement requirements, while maintaining an acceptable level of inventory by SKU to support the marketing forecast and Fill Rate service level targets.
• Support the effective transition between planning and execution based upon material availability and available capacity.
• Mitigate past due orders through expediting
• Adhere and align to Master Production Schedules; including re-sequence/re-route production orders to minimize deviation from MPS when constrained
• Escalate execution issues to Network Scheduler & Operations leader when resolution time is preventing adherence to the MPS (Master Production Schedule)
• Support the annual Materials Management Self-Assessment and driving action closure.
• Support material related Supply Chain initiatives related to world class materials processes, systems and execution (ERP Health) driving improvement and results through action items and counter measures.
• Support inventory plans and processes to align with strategic objectives. Working with the SCM Network to support sound decision making and accountability (ABC/XYZ, Inventory Analytics, Kanban/MinMax, Forecast, sand input from SIOP) to balance inventory levels with customer requirements and profit plan targets.
• Support Continuous Improvement activities such as but not limited to Find-It-Fix-It and Cost out program to drive efficiency improvements and set cost out targets

Qualifications:

Basic Required Qualifications
• Post-Secondary Education in Supply Chain Management or related discipline.
• 1 year of experience working in supply chain (or related) role
• No relocation benefit is being offered for this position
• Must be legally authorized to work in Canada without company sponsorship now and in the future.

Preferred Qualifications
• Knowledge of MRP system (Oracle).
• Knowledge of ERP system.
• Knowledge or Global Vista system, US Vista system
