What you'll do:

Heading the PQ Material planning /MPS/production planning function for the plant to meet the customer on time delivery with alignment of shopfloor loading and inventory target

  1. Heading PQ Material requirement with production planning, Master Scheduling /Inventory to ensure on time shop floor loading as well as on time completion of customer order to meet the customer OTD
  2. Co-ordinating with cross functional team sales operation /purchase /production to ensure the execution of customer order.
  3. Leading supply planning & Master scheduling / Line loading & Attend daily pulse meeting and commit the delivery date to sales ops
  4. MPS- preparing the monthly production schedule to align with purchase to identify the risk and track the risk to communicate to sales operation
  5. Preparing the material shortage report against the production plan and getting the commitment from buyers
  6. Finalizing the production plan to align with the business plan before 15th of every month
  7. Daily review with team and ensuring the all the customer commitment for met and escalating the issue on time
  8. Sharing the visibility for next 3 months demand availability to the cross functional team
  9. Monitors and reschedules changes in production planning on a regular basis involving all concerned to meet the monthly plan
  10. Reviewing & tracking of SAP action messages with team to ensure the pull in and pushout action executed by on time
  11. Key member in SIOP process -Leading supply planning process to communicate the availability & attending monthly SIOP review call with all region
  12. Leading CI process for overall planning and inventory function to identify and digitization process.
  13. Planning and prioritizing operations to ensure maximum performance and minimum delay [ Production plan must assure to reach internal targets]
  14. Monthly review of customer OTD /Past due vs actual and preparing the analysis
  15. Tracking MTS stock availability for the assigned material
  16. Quarterly safety stock review and re-assign the MTS/MTO
  17. Providing the monthly closing inventory projection based on production plan for FG parts.
  18. Co-ordinating with intercompany plant and ensure the ontime execution of export shipment.

Qualifications:

  1. BE / ME degree in Electrical/ Electronics Engg.
  2. 12+ years of experience in material planning /production planning in SAP.


Skills:

  1. Strong knowledge in PP/MM-module in SAP- plant role.
  2. Strong knowledge in overall supply chain flow starting from demand till material delivery to customer.
  3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  4. High degree of professional presence and customer interface skills.
  5. Very adept at influencing to achieve results through others when required.
  6. Team player.
  7. Ability to get things done through teams effectively.
  8. Ability to forge strong relationships at all levels of the organization.
