Lead Analyst - Revenue Recognition COE
What you'll do:
The Revenue Recognition COE Lead Analyst ensures accurate revenue recognition for organizational arrangements.This role handles complex revenue accounting, including contract review, monthly close, and journal entries, while maintaining compliance with company policies and SOX controls and supporting process and system improvements.
• Prepare and post revenue-related journal entries in compliance with both IFRS 15 and US GAAP ASC 606.
• Support and coordinate contract review and identify performance obligations for standard and non-standard arrangements.
• Partner with the business and operations finance teams on technical revenue recognition accounting.
• Reconcile revenue subledger to the general ledger and investigate variances.
• Support monthly and quarterly close activities, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
• Maintain documentation for SOX controls and assist in audit requests.
• Ensure adherence to company revenue recognition policies and procedures.
• Support process improvement & other projects as requested
• Support audit centralization initiatives & rationalization projects

- University degree in Finance & Accounting
- Professional accounting certification (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, CPA, etc.) desirable
- Minumum of 3 years of financial experience (finance/accounting or auditing within a multinational environment)
Skills:
- Excellent working knowledge of English and other European language is an advantage
- Strong technical accounting skills (both under IFRS and US GAAP)
- Knowledgeable of legal entities in multinational company
- Experience working with 3rd party auditors across regions and countries
- Excellent English language skill (other European languages are helpful) with strong communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong ERP system knowledge (SAP, Oracle) and other revenue automation tools.
- Advanced proficiency with Excel and visualization tools (Power BI, Tableau) and process automation.
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Proactive and enthusiastic personality with strong influencing skill
- Able to work as part of a team, adhere to company standard processes, practices & policies
- Ability to communicate complex accounting concepts in clear, business-friendly language
- Able to work proactively taking the ownership on the given scope
