Demand Analyst
What you'll do:
We are looking for a Demand Analyst to support the Wiring Devices team.
Reporting directly to the Commercial Operations Manager, this role is responsible for managing and delivering an accurate demand plan across multiple country sales organizations within the region.
You will work closely with Product Line Managers (PLMs), Sales teams, wider SIOP / end to end planning network, playing a key role in translating market intelligence and commercial inputs into reliable demand plans across a 1-24 month planning horizon at Shipping Plant x Customer x SKU level.
This is a highly analytical role requiring strategic thinking and the ability to interpret trends and seasonality, along with the discipline to rigorously execute forecasting processes with consistency and precision.
Key responsibilities:
• Own and deliver a robust monthly mid to long term demand plan (18-24 months), combining:
o Statistical baseline forecasting
o Qualitative adjustments
o Market intelligence from commercial teams
• Analyze historical sales data to identify trends, seasonality, and demand patterns, including:
o Fast and slow moving products
o Promotional activity
o Exceptional market or macro economic impacts
• Prepare & Present demand planning outputs and insights during Network and SIOP review meetings
• Monitor and manage key Demand Planning KPIs, including:
o Forecast Accuracy
o Forecast Bias
o Demand Stability
• Lead root cause analysis on forecast errors, ensuring corrective actions are clearly documented, validated, and embedded into future cycles
• Build strong working relationships with country and zone commercial, finance, and supply planning teams, ensuring clear communication of volume and portfolio requirements across short, medium, and long term horizons
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree (must) in Administration or related
• 2+ years' experience in demand planning, supply chain, or a related planning role
• Fluent written and spoken English is required, due to regular collaboration with international stakeholders.
• Experience working in regional or matrix environments is a strong advantage
• Strong knowledge of Demand Planning, S&OP / SIOP, and Supply Chain Management
• Hands on experience with SAP, Demantra, Excel, BI, and reporting
• Confident working with data, forecasts, and scenario analysis
