Associate Engineer - PLM

What you'll do:

Position's main focus will be to coordinate the change management process for all products under the Industrial controls and protection division portfolio and provide guidance to the team on various PLM related topics.

  • Monitor, keep track and push all Change Requests / Change Orders of ICPD department through the whole lifecycle.
  • Report status of Change Management Items regularly to management.
  • Organize, prepare and hosts sessions for CR Reviews & Change Control Board (CCB) Reviews.
  • First contact person for ICPD Enovia Users (Engineering, PM, Mfg, SCM, Quality and Externals) in case of problems or issues regarding their accounts, change management, EBOM creation or Part Visibility.
  • Connection point between Global IT and ICPD Users.
  • Active part in Change Management Governance like Route setting creation/ review, CR/CO Formal quality check, EBOM Quality, Part Quality, etc.
  • Keep track of Change Management Governance findings found and stop Items till defects corrected.
  • Maintaining Enovia Route template configuration, active part in improving route setup according to Industry Best practices.
  • Responsible for proper process adherence, ensure integrity, completeness, and quality of database (Change Items, Parts, EBOMs).
  • Be active in improving our change management and other processes as well as database quality, suggest new idea, take responsibility, and drive them
  • Update Process Material as well as Enovia Guidelines.
  • Align the PLM tool and process with IT and the Process and Tool responsible department.
  • Work with global counterparts to chalk out a roadmap and then work with the team to mature the same."

Qualifications:

Education- B.E. Mechanical
Experience- 1 to 2 Years

Skills:

  • Exposure to Product Lifecycle management (PLM) programs.
  • Must have Change management process and Enovia PLM tool understanding.
  • Exposure to engineering change request and change order process and review process.
  • Experience in leading change request and release management.
  • Should have MX Excel Skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot, etc.)
  • Having exposure to Power BI will be added advantage
  • Must be organized and a self-starter.
  • Must have people skills to deal with various departments.
  • Should have good Capability of abstraction and should be process oriented
  • Should have worked on Bulk load features in Enovia
  • Strong customer oriented (Enovia Users) communication skills
  • Stakeholder communication & management, process definition
