About the Team

As a member of our People Technology team, you'll play an instrumental role in building simple, seamless experiences with technology. We're looking for a talented Manager, People Integrations to join our team and work closely with product and business partners to drive key decisions and innovate in critical tools such as Workday, Greenhouse, and beyond.

Your contributions will help shape the future of our organization as we continue to push the boundaries of what's possible. You'll serve as the connective tissue between HR, IT, Finance, and business leaders, ensuring the secure and efficient flow of people data across the enterprise.

About the Role

In this role, you'll be the visionary leader who owns the integration strategy for the People organization, transforming how we deliver technical services and influencing leadership on new ways to drive efficiency, compliance, and productivity through the platforms you manage.

You'll build scalable processes, partner with Information Security to protect our data, and identify creative solutions that accelerate our delivery through automation and smart design. This role goes beyond operations - you'll define the long-term roadmap that supports DoorDash's rapid scale and global growth.

You will report to the head of our People Technology function.

  • Build strong, trusted relationships with business stakeholders by anticipating their needs and delivering before they ask.
  • Design and own the integration architecture across Workday, Greenhouse, payroll, benefits, and other enterprise systems to ensure resilience and scalability.
  • Establish governance standards, documentation, and monitoring frameworks to ensure data accuracy, security, and compliance with GDPR, CCPA, SOC2, and other regulations.
  • Manage vendor and middleware partners to drive accountability, maximize ROI, and ensure SLAs are consistently met.
  • Define and track clear, measurable KPIs (uptime, error resolution time, automation ROI), and present results to leadership through executive-ready reporting.
  • Utilize automation and process optimization to deliver 10x results with 2x investment, building scalability and flexibility into infrastructure operations.
  • Treat every DoorDash asset as your personal responsibility, ensuring all decisions align with our goals and financial commitments.

We're excited about you because...

  • You have 8+ years of experience with at least 5 years managing HR systems teams.
  • You have deep expertise in Workday, with strong knowledge of HCM, Compensation, Absence, Time Tracking, and Recruitment.
  • You bring hands-on experience with Workday Studio, APIs, EIB (Enterprise Interface Builder), Core Connectors, Payroll connectors, and middleware tools.
  • You've successfully managed and scaled remote workforces.
  • You know how to make a compelling business case with clear ROI and influence executive stakeholders with data-driven storytelling.
  • You're familiar with industry best practices, but creative in developing iterative approaches to maturing IT services while resource constrained.
  • You've scaled an IT/HR Systems function through a combination of process, tooling, hiring, and sourcing strategies.
  • You bring experience with iPaaS/middleware (e.g., MuleSoft, Boomi, Workato) to complement Workday-native tools.
  • You have strong experience in Scrum/Agile methodology, building velocity and operational metrics through Jira stories and epics.
  • You understand InfoSec principles, data governance, and audit readiness, and can partner closely with security and compliance teams.
  • You are a proven change leader, influencing adoption of new technologies and ways of working across functions.

Compensation

The successful candidate's starting pay will fall within the pay range listed below and is determined based on job-related factors including, but not limited to, skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. Base salary is localized according to an employee's work location. Ranges are market-dependent and may be modified in the future.

In addition to base salary, the compensation for this role includes opportunities for equity grants. Talk to your recruiter for more information.

See below for paid time off details:

  • For salaried roles: flexible paid time off/vacation, plus 80 hours of paid sick time per year.
  • For hourly roles: vacation accrued at about 1 hour for every 25.97 hours worked (e.g. about 6.7 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 3.4 hours/month if working 20 hours/week), and paid sick time accrued at 1 hour for every 30 hours worked (e.g. about 5.8 hours/month if working 40 hours/week; about 2.9 hours/month if working 20 hours/week).

The national base pay range for this position within the United States, including Illinois and Colorado.

$163,200-$240,000 USD
