Position Summary

The US Office of Security (OOS) is a key function within Finance & Administration, focused on maintaining a safe and secure environment for all Deloitte US professionals. Our mission is to provide our people with the information, tools, and support needed to protect our organization, facilities, and clients. As a Security Specialist on the Security Technology Operations team, you will manage the day-to-day operation of physical security systems across multiple Deloitte office locations.

In this role, you will help ensure security system standards and procedures are applied consistently across all Deloitte US Firms' locations. You may conduct end-to-end security risk assessments across the Deloitte business enterprise to identify vulnerabilities and potential operational impacts. You will also lead and support first level support for US and subsidiary offices globally for access control and video systems, including assisting with firm emergencies and investigations. This role requires strong network and computer troubleshooting skills.

In this role, you will:

  • Monitor and assess overall health and functionality of physical security systems and equipment
  • Assist with Deloitte Technology security related initiatives to ensure audit compliance and confidentiality of security systems. Help evaluate new technology for purchase and deployment in the security space.
  • Provide standard and ad hoc reports to Office of Security, facility managers and office leadership concerning security related topics and issues. This includes reports to Office of General Counsel pertaining to internal investigations and other legal actions concerning the Firm.
  • Conduct evidence gathering for appropriate internal stakeholders. Regularly report to senior leadership concerning such matters.
  • Act as liaison between departments and authorized third party vendors to resolve emergency security system issues to assure confidence in reliability and functionality of systems. Maintain records pertaining to security equipment purchases and installations in offices.
  • Provide support to construction, acquisition and other projects to ensure security system standards and availability are met.
  • Monitor video surveillance program and ensure compliance of design and documentation to Deloitte's policies and procedures. Conduct surveillance analysis to investigate security violations.
  • Assist as needed with employee/contractor badging program.
  • Conduct training sessions, as needed
  • Provide lead program support for assigned security functions. This includes preparing security documentation for internal processes as well as internal/external audits.
  • Operate security systems and equipment. Engage in investigations and due diligence reporting for site security issues.
  • Implement pre-established emergency action plans when necessary. Ensure security system compliance between local offices and vendors for alarm system monitoring.
  • Compile security data for future reporting audits. Document and record all security incidents.
  • Manage the coordination of badging, video and alarm system monitoring across multiple offices including global subsideraries. Act as intermediary between alarm system vendor local office supervisors. Ensure compliance of design and documentation of system monitoring meets compliance requirements.
  • Lead first level security system support for all access and video control including assisting with Firm emergencies and investigations. Report to Talent Risk, OGC, and Security Leadership on sensitive matters.
  • Define Technician requirements to escalate computer or network issues as it relates to the overall security program
  • Handle a significant amount of personal identifiable information (PII) as well as sensitive and/or classified information. Must always safeguard and protect information.
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Qualifications required:

  • US Citizenship required
  • Bachelor's Degree or advanced certification
  • Minimum of 5 years of related security administration experience
  • Must be available for on-call response 24/7
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future

An Ideal Candidate will possess:

  • Facility Security Officer (FSO) training certification preferred
  • CCTV/IP Video (Exacq) applications and cameras; Exacq video certification (obtainable in 1st year/renewal as needed)
  • Expert Microsoft Office skills
  • Software House CCURE certification highly desirable (obtainable in 1st year/renewal, as needed)
  • Proficient database operations skills, including system database import/export knowledge
  • Basic SAP skills
  • Experience with security access control (C-Cure) applications and video surveillance.
  • SQL skills, including reporting
  • Working knowledge of security support applications e.g. SOC, mass communications, mobile badging, etc.
