Senior Manager, Pharma Data and Analytics Strategy

We are seeking a Senior Manager, Data and Analytics strategy, to join our growing Data and Analytics team. In this role, you will play a critical role in shaping and executing strategic analytics initiatives that support pharmaceutical client engagement and drive business growth. This position is ideal for a highly analytical and client-focused professional with deep expertise in pharmaceutical data and a strong ability to translate business requirements into analytics plans and subsequently, analytics insights into strategies. You will collaborate cross-functionally to deliver high-impact solutions and support the Vice President and Executive Director in driving innovation and performance across the Data and Analytics portfolio.

  • Lead the design and design of tailored analytics solutions that address pharmaceutical client needs across commercial teams (e.g. marketing, analytics and strategy) functions.
  • Responsible for oversight of the business performance and effectiveness of projects aligned to you as part of the Data and Analytics portfolio.
  • Maintain strong relationships with pharmaceutical manufacturers a subject matter expert in pharmaceutical data, commercial analytics and marketing strategy.
  • Implement functional strategies with functional teams across various internal functions (e.g. product, data engineering, data science, data science, operations, client services) to ensure seamless execution of analytics initiatives.
  • Support strategic planning and development of next-generation analytics capabilities.
  • Contribute to thought leadership efforts, including client presentations and industry engagements.
  • Monitor performance metrics and provide insights to optimize solution effectiveness and client impact.
  • Influence department strategy on next generation of analytics capabilities to be developed to maximize enterprise results.
  • Proactively identify client needs and translate them into tailored analytics solutions that drive measurable value.
Required Qualifications

  • 8+ years of experience in sales, business development, consulting, or client solutions in the pharmaceutical data and analytics space.
  • 5+ years of experience in delivering impactful analytics projects and solutions.
  • Deep understanding of pharmaceutical industry dynamics, including marketing and commercial strategy.
  • Experience in using pharma industry data products e.g. IQVIA, Symphony health, to generate insights and recommendations.
  • Excellent presentation skills with ability to communicate complex concepts through visuals.
  • Demonstrated success in cross-functional collaboration and solution development.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, unstructured problem solving and strategic thinking skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working within or in partnership with large healthcare organizations.
  • Experience with novel AI and Data Science capabilities
Education

Bachelor's degree required in relevant field of study (e.g. Data Science, Public Health, Business, Life Sciences)

Advanced degree (MBA, MS, PhD) in relevant fields preferred (e.g. Data Science, Public Health, Business, Life Sciences)Pay Range

The typical pay range for this role is:$67,900.00 - $199,144.00

This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
