Product Quality Safety Director

And we do it all with heart, each and every day.The Lead Director of Product Quality team will leverage their deep institutional knowledge of the practice of community pharmacy in developing and leading a critical agenda for the business designed to mitigate risk in the area of pharmacy professional practices across a fleet of 9,000+ community pharmacy locations and 900 Minute Clinic locations. As such, this key role will directly impact the mitigation of financial, regulatory and reputation risk for the company.In this role, the Lead Director is expected to set and execute a strategic vision for product integrity programs, ensuring alignment with both organizational objectives and industry best practices. The position encompasses comprehensive management of clinical assessment protocols, temperature monitoring systems, and cold chain asset management, integrating these vital programs into daily pharmacy and clinic functions. A critical part of the role involves monitoring program performance, recognizing opportunities for process optimization, and spearheading initiatives that boost efficiency, minimize risk, and enforce regulatory compliance. Proficient financial management is critical for the Lead Director, who oversees a complex budget, resource allocation, and the implementation of cost-saving initiatives to ensure fiscal sustainability and optimize return on investment. Decisions in this role are anchored in data-driven insights, leveraging advanced analytics to evaluate outcomes, identify trends, and guide continuous improvement.An ideal candidate will be a visionary leader passionate about elevating pharmaceutical care and patient safety on a national scale. They will be a collaborative influencer, adept at building partnerships across the organization, and an analytical thinker who uses data to inform strategy and achieve tangible results. Exceptional communication skills and the ability to engage and inspire both senior executives and team members are vital. Ultimately, this leader should thrive in a fast-paced, complex environment as a change agent committed to continuous improvement. This Leader must have a polished executive presence, and will be comfortable presenting to senior leadership audiences on a regular cadence. This Leader will also be responsible for developing and overseeing a team of highly trained clinicians and patient safety leaders within the organization. This leader will have roughly 30 colleagues reporting into their portfolio.Required Qualifications:

- 5-8 years of experience
- Demonstrate attention to detail and ability to lead multiple work streams simultaneously with the ability to identify and readjust priorities as needed while consistently meeting deadlines
- Exhibits leadership skills and has an established track record of successfully leading individuals/work streams
- Collaborate with various leaders, organizations, and stakeholders across the industry and enterprise to help inform strategic initiatives, prioritization of efforts and formulation of specific projects to implement improvements within the retail organization
- Demonstrate ability for independent judgment, initiative and confidence to share expert opinions
- Demonstrates strong executive presence with excellent communication and writing skills
- Demonstrate competence with spreadsheets and presentation software, including knowledge of MS Outlook, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and MS Word
- Ability to travel occasionally
Bachelor's Degree PharmD preferredPay Range
The typical pay range for this role is:$100,000.00 - $231,540.00
This pay range represents the base hourly rate or base annual full-time salary for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual base salary offer will depend on a variety of factors including experience, education, geography and other relevant factors. This position is eligible for a CVS Health bonus, commission or short-term incentive program in addition to the base pay range listed above.
