DESCRIPTION
We are looking for a talented Commissioning Engineer to join our team specializing in Service for our Projects Department in San Fernando de Henares, Spain.
This role requires up to 75% domestic travel and up to 25% international travel.
In this role, you will make an impact in the following ways:
- Commissioning Expertise: Develops commissioning scripts and conducts equipment testing to ensure systems are fully operational before deployment.
- Quality Assurance: Supports quality inspections to uphold high standards and ensure compliance with technical specifications.
- Site Operations Support: Assists in site support and management to maintain efficiency and resolve operational challenges.
- Safety Leadership: Develops RAMS to promote safe working practices and mitigate risks during technical operations.
- Collaborative Design Input: Participates in design meetings with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to align technical solutions with project goals.
- Equipment Compliance: Maintains testing equipment to ensure accuracy, reliability, and adherence to compliance standards.
- Customer-Facing Technical Support: Acts as the primary contact for diagnosing and executing complex generator repairs, ensuring prompt and effective service.
- Team Development: Coaches technicians and apprentices, sharing expertise and reviewing repair plans to elevate team performance and knowledge.

RESPONSIBILITIES
To be successful in this role you will need the following:
- Strong Technical Knowledge: Proficiency in commissioning processes, equipment testing, and understanding of RAMS to ensure safe and effective operations.
- Attention to Detail: Ability to maintain compliance of testing equipment and support quality inspections with precision and accuracy.
- Collaboration & Communication Skills: Confidence in participating in design meetings and working with customers, suppliers, and internal teams to align on technical solutions.
- Organizational & Site Management Abilities: Capability to support site operations, manage documentation, and contribute to smooth project execution.
QUALIFICATIONS
Education/ Experience:
- Apprentice Trained Engine Technician (Preferred)
- Vocational diploma from relevant technical institution
- Locally valid driving permit
- This position may require licensing for compliance with export controls or sanctions regulations
- Intermediate field service work experience
- Expert level knowledge of and/or experience with power generation products
- Customer service experience
