Job Summary
The Regional Quality Manager is responsible for providing leadership and direction for the Quality Managers and Technicians in accordance with the vision and values of Oldcastle Infrastructure. They must model and demonstrate a "Culture of Quality" for all plant QC Managers and all employees by actively utilizing systems and processes that foster this quality culture. They will hold themselves, Quality Managers, Quality Technicians, and all employees accountable for adherence to all national standards, internal policies & regulations for the safe, environmentally compliant production of quality pipe and precast concrete products. The incumbent will implement and manage all aspects of the IPG Quality Program to meet customer expectations and all compliance requirements. In addition, they will actively participate in training and development of self and others as part of the regional succession planning program.
To succeed in this role, you must be strongly driven to hold to a high level of quality standards to earn and maintain customer trust. You'll also need to be self-motivated to learn new information quickly. As a Regional Quality Manager, you will need to have strong written and verbal communication to communicate clearly with non-technical stakeholders. You should be able to identify patterns from large sets of data and are motivated by a fast-paced dynamic environment. Manage the entire lifecycle of multi-stakeholder and multi-site operations from a quality management and continuous improvement perspective.
Job Location
This is an on site position traveling to our facilities within the Southeast Region. This candidate must be located in Tenneesee, Kentucky, Georgia or Florida.
Job Responsibilities
• Manages and directs Quality Managers for complete compliance with all IPG Quality Program requirements as well as all ACPA, NPCA, PCI, DOT, and local requirement.
• Ensures full Krinkle Application utilization in all facilities within the region.
• Participates in Bi-Annual Internal Quality Assessment Plan (IQAP) which includes documenting all findings and creating action plans to correct all deficiencies identified in assessments.
• Ensures all required QC employee certifications are up-to-date and in compliance with all applicable regulations.
• Ensures daily activities for each plant's Quality Assurance program are complete, which includes overseeing and auditing all inspections and testing, as needed.
• Ensures plants meet compliance documentation (DOT, ACPA, NPCA, PCI, ACI & IPG) and record keeping for the facilities.
• Holds monthly regional QC meetings to review corrective actions for specific quality issues/concerns and KPI's.
• Leads/assists each plant with all internal and external quality issues (back charges) with a full RCA to prevent future quality-related chargebacks and losses.
• Provides monthly training for plant QC managers and technicians.
• Ensure plants are following all third-party requirements.
• Assists third-party agencies with facility audits (DOT, NPCA, ACPA, PCI, and other customers as required).
• Reports-out on quality issues/deficiencies to regional management team and ensure proper corrective actions are assigned and closed out in a timely manner.
• Recommends repairs for product, as needed.
• Recommends corrective actions on mix and steel designs to engineering, as needed.
• Assists in the corrective action/progressive disciplinary process, as required.
• Maintains regional database for key quality control documents.
• Maintains thorough knowledge of precast processes and equipment, have workable knowledge of industry technological developments and best practices.
Job Requirements

• Ability to effectively manage conflict.
• 7+ years of precast concrete experience or related industry experience.
• Associate's degree preferred in Business, Manufacturing, Engineering, Technology, Production, Quality Systems or related fields.
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Travel expectations are approximately 75%
