We are seeking a summer intern. The desired area of interest is Finance . The intern season will begin between May 2026 and may run through end of August 2026. The location is in Lunenburg ,MA.
Position Overview
Individuals perform basic assistance on the financial institution while learning of its operations and complexities. Finance interns should be highly attentive to observing processes, assessing financial reports, familiarizing them with records management, and supporting data entry procedures. Financial internships provide the best training grounds for interns who want to pursue a career in the financial industry. Financial interns, depending on the organization, will be given regular work assignments to practice their analytical and statistical skills which are very crucial in the financial system industry.
Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)
- A finance intern works under the supervision of the VP of Business & Financial Group
- Basic Data Entry for Weekly Production & Liquid Entry
- Assist Finance team formal dept Test SOX Controls for completeness and accuracy.
- 3rd Party Inventory Physical Review
- To observe, understand, collect and provide opportunities across a few chosen LOB and provide this information to his/her vertical head and that LOB lead.
- Be given professional analytical and management support work assignments.
- Assistance may be required in the preparation of monthly or weekly financial reports
- Develop and utilize spreadsheets, databases and other computer applications
- Manage specialized information, reports, forms dealing with fees, billing, tracking of
- projects etc
- Enter information into the financial accounting system of the company
Additional Responsibilities
- Provided a variety of exposure among our Finance, Safety, Operations, & HR departments.
- Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the public at all times.
- Must be able to collect, evaluate and interpret data, in both statistical and narrative form
- Should be capable of preparing files and maintaining records and documentation.
- Strict adherence to safety requirements and procedures as outlined in the Environmental, Health & Safety Manual.
- Strict adherence to policies and procedures as outlined in the Employee Manual.
- Willingness to work in a team environment and assist co-workers or supervisors with other duties as required. In addition to being self-driven to work independently at times.
- Ability to structure schedule accordingly to work on projects as required.
Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Work Requirements
- Ability to communicate sufficiently to be able to convey and exchange ideas, and to give and receive detailed verbal instructions.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Knowledge/Skill Requirements
- Ability to add, subtracts, multiply and divides in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
- Individual must possess excellent computer skills and be proficient with Windows, Microsoft Excel and Word
