Principal Product Manager, Agentic Operations

The Role

We are hiring a Principal Product Manager to build CCC's Agentic Operations for Auto Insurance Claims product line from the ground up. This is a new product line focused on AI agents that can carry claims work end to end and take action within the workflows carriers already use to run their business.

This role is ideal for a product leader who is energized by zero-to-one product building, complex enterprise workflows, regulated environments, and the opportunity to define how agentic AI can safely and effectively operate in high-stakes claims processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Own the strategy, roadmap, and commercial case for a new agentic product line, from first concept through market validation
• Decide what the agents actually do: which claims workflows they take end to end, where a human stays in the loop, and how much autonomy they earn as evidence comes in
• Set the quality and safety bar (evals, guardrails, escalation paths, audit trails) and work out what a carrier needs to see before it will let an agent touch a live claim
• Work with senior claims executives at major carriers to find the problems worth solving and test product ideas against them. CCC's relationships get you the meeting; what happens next is on you
• Sell it yourself. Build the pitch, the pricing story, and the proof points with sales, customer success, and product marketing, and be in the room when it lands or doesn't
• Write code and build working agents alongside your engineers, using AI coding tools as a core part of how you work
• Set value propositions, adoption hypotheses, and kill criteria for every bet, and have the discipline to walk away from work that isn't landing

• 6+ years of product management experience in enterprise software or high-production SaaS environment
• At least one 0-to-1 product build, ideally in a startup or high-velocity environment
• Deep experience in at least one complex, regulated vertical
• Demonstrated experience building and shipping AI-driven products; experience with LLM-based or agentic systems strongly preferred
• Track record of working directly with enterprise customers and senior stakeholders to validate product direction
• Comfort operating in ambiguity, with a bias toward action and learning over extensive upfront planning
• Experience delivering results in a sales/GTM context, personally carrying a product into the market and communicating well with everyone from end users to C-level executives
