Corporate Access Specialist
Capital Group has a Global Corporate Access team of 14 people, with associates based in North America (Los Angeles, New York, San Francisco), London and throughout Asia (Hong Kong, Mumbai, Singapore, and Tokyo). The aim of the group is to act as a central point of contact and coordinating body within the firm for all corporate access events, including bespoke field trips and site visits, sector-specific conferences, roadshows, and conference calls. This role requires liaising between Capital Group investment teams, corporates, third party IR firms, and sell-side brokers.
There's an exciting in-person opportunity available for a Corporate Access specialist to join the Americas Corporate Access team reporting to the Americas Manager. The specialist will be responsible for originating and managing events in the Americas region and allocated sectors. S/he will be tasked with curating access to corporates, experts, and government entities, including site visits, conference calls, roadshows, conferences, and bespoke research trips. This role can be based in Los Angeles or San Francisco.

Key Responsibilities:
- Develop internal relationships with investment professionals to understand their investment philosophy and workflow to originate high-impact meetings and events.
- Act as a point of contact with company management teams (CEOs, CFOs, and other C-suite, Investor Relations, etc.) to secure meetings for our investment professionals, representing Capital Group in an appropriate and compelling manner, and ensuring a positive user experience.
- Facilitate relationship-building opportunities for new analysts by guiding them with insights on company preferences.
- Build external relationships with corporate Investor Relations teams, Brokers and third-party vendors.
- Educate corporate stakeholders about Capital Group's investment philosophy, to strengthen the firm's brand and trust.
- Travel with the investment group to deepen both internal and external relationships.
- Partner with sector meeting planners and, where needed, coordinate logistics to ensure seamless execution of corporate access engagements.
- Maintain data related to corporate access engagements and usage rates by investment teams in CorpAxe.
- Work collaboratively with partners across the organization, including Compliance, Meetings & Events, Research Data Services and Technology and Sales.
- Coordinate closely with global corporate access teammates (based in US, London and Asia) and help monitor team inbox.

- You have a minimum of 5 years of experience in financial services, and ideally, experience in Corporate Access, Investor Relations, research or related financial services. Knowledge or experience in Consumer or Industrials sectors a plus.
- You have a bachelor's degree; advanced degrees or certifications (e.g., CFA Foundations, Investor Relations Certificate) a plus.
- You have strong project and program management skills, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and timelines in a fast-paced environment.
- You show a passion for Corporate Access and understand its importance in the investment process.
- You have exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
- You can engage confidently and build strong relationships with C-level executives and senior investment professionals.
- You have a client-centric mindset with strong judgment, integrity, and experience handling confidential or sensitive information.
- You're proficient in Microsoft Suite programs, CorpAxe, CapIQ and AI tools a plus.
Southern California Base Salary Range: $96,120-$153,792
San Francisco Base Salary Range: $112,091-$179,346
In addition to a highly competitive base salary, per plan guidelines, restrictions and vesting requirements, you also will be eligible for an individual annual performance bonus, plus Capital's annual profitability bonus plus a retirement plan where Capital contributes 15% of your eligible earnings.
