Role Overview
The Senior Specialist, Localization drives Go-To-Market plans, focusing on scaling marketing efforts in key geographic markets, particularly the US. This role collaborates with regional and marketing channel stakeholders to translate business strategy into actionable marketing plans and define necessary capabilities for long-term growth. They maintain relationships with regional teams (Product, Commercial, FP&A, LT) to align on business strategy, drive quarterly and annual marketing plans, and communicate progress. Working closely with marketing channels, they develop marketing plans, translate product/business strategy into briefs, keep channels updated on regional developments, capture product requirements, and align dependencies with product and data teams. This person also leads multi-channel scaling work streams and campaigns. Additionally, they manage multi-channel marketing priorities, converting business strategy into actionable plans. Success requires close collaboration with commercial, product, and marketing stakeholders, applying deep marketing experience to challenge strategies, articulate trade-offs, develop results-driven strategies, and maintain strong senior leadership relationships, all while keeping the customer perspective central.
Key Job Responsibilities and Duties
- Be the primary point of contact for key stakeholders across key regional teams
- Provide a marketing perspective to key topics within the region, identifying the right time to bring the right marketing channels into conversations
- Drive quarterly and annual GTM plans for key regions
- Develop and coordinate integrated marketing programs that span multiple marketing channels
- Drive key horizontal marketing priorities within the BU Marketing team
Role Qualifications and Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in online, data-driven, performance Marketing
- Excellent stakeholder management skills, with an ability to bring together groups with a diverse range of opinions
- Evidenced ability to influence decision makers across marketing, commercial and product teams
- Aptitude for technical and data driven topics, with the ability to challenge technical teams where needed
- Confident in leading strategic workstreams, often with high levels of ambiguity and clarification required
- Experience in delivering strategic proposals and advice up to SVP level
- Ability to analyze and interpret data sets, identifying salient information to inform strategy
- Strong commercial acumen, able to understand all sides of a business challenge
- Experience working with marketing, product and FP&A topics
- Strong project management skills; organised, with strong communication skills
- Proactive in identifying and addressing blockers and areas of misalignment independently where possible
- A strong marketing background, with either in depth knowledge in at least one marketing channel, or broad marketing experience across multiple channels
