Product Marketing Manager - Flights

The Flights Product Marketing team is responsible for identifying and assessing opportunities to enhance our product experience and bringing new flights features and services to market. The team's main objective is to help grow the business through increased conversion rate, engagement and revenue. In your day-to-day work you will directly partner with a wide range of stakeholders - from product teams, data, research and UX professionals, to legal and marketing experts, to create attractive customer journeys that make a positive impact on the business.

You'll report to the Senior Product Marketing Manager in Flights, who will support you in your growth and development. You will also have the opportunity to engage with the wider Product Marketing community for support and resources.

The ideal candidate has an excellent eye for detail, pragmatic approach and strong ownership. While you will have a supporting team around you, it's important that you can work independently to identify opportunities, are comfortable to engage a wide group of stakeholders to drive execution and feel excited to make decisions based on data and experimentation.

B.Responsible:
  • Represent the customer at all times, while protecting the interests of Booking.com
  • Influence your stakeholders using data, analytical thinking and structured presentation skills
  • Provide ongoing product feedback to product teams, aggregated from multiple channels
  • Proactively manage stakeholders across the organization to influence and share information, through the right medium, at the right time
  • Create end-to-end, go-to-market strategies for key flights features and services
  • Define the positioning of the flights product to key customer segments
  • Collaborate with our in-house marketing teams to effectively market our flights offering through customer marketing campaigns
  • Create value propositions and messaging based on data and insights
  • Validate value propositions with target audiences through qualitative and quantitative research methods
  • Be the main source of knowledge about our customers and competitors, working alongside our data and research teams
  • Inform and play an active role in the roadmap definition and prioritization
B.Skilled:
  • 5 years' experience in product marketing or similar strategic marketing role
  • Proven track record in taking end-to-end responsibility of marketing scalable products, from idea generation to execution
  • Ability to manage projects across multiple departments and stakeholders
  • Strong prioritization and multitasking skills
  • Ability to use data and facts to make decisions
  • Strong interpersonal skills (verbal & written communication)
  • Curious, solution-oriented and result-driven approach
  • Proactive, flexible and capable of working independently as well as working in a team
  • Strategic thinker, able to balance long-term vision with short- and medium-term goals
  • Commercial skills (e.g. sizing business opportunities)
  • Preferably have experience working with product teams
  • Bonus if you have experience in the travel, tech, e-commerce or aviation industry
