About This Role:
As National Sales Manager, you will spearhead Biogen's sales efforts for rare diseases and specialty care across Mexico and Colombia. This pivotal role requires a strategic leader who can drive revenue growth, develop high-performing sales teams, and foster cross-functional collaboration to ensure alignment in executing business strategies. You will be responsible for creating and implementing sales plans that address market opportunities, while adhering to industry regulations and maintaining Biogen's commitment to ethical practices. Serving as a key driver in achieving business objectives, your leadership will shape a culture of accountability, collaboration, and results within the sales organization.

What You'll Do:

  • Recruit, train, and manage a team of sales professionals, equipping them with the skills and knowledge needed to succeed.
  • Continuously coach and develop advanced leadership and sales capabilities within your team.
  • Create a high-performance culture emphasizing accountability, collaboration, and achievement of key performance indicators (KPIs).
  • Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to maximize market penetration and achieve business objectives for rare diseases and specialty care products.
  • Conduct market analysis to identify trends, opportunities, and competitive insights to inform sales strategies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Marketing, Access, Reimbursement, Patient Services, Medical, and Finance, to align on enterprise strategies and deploy solutions.
  • Set performance targets, monitor progress, and provide regular updates to senior management on sales activities and outcomes.
  • Ensure compliance with Biogen's policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards in all sales activities.
  • Lead by example, demonstrating decision-making skills and fostering a culture of accountability and results-oriented performance.
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders on initiatives such as training, event planning, and digital solutions to enhance team effectiveness.

Required Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Administration, Science (Master's degree is a plus).
  • Minimum of 7 years of sales experience in the pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry in a Sales Manager role, with a focus on rare diseases or specialty care.
  • Deep knowledge of public and private healthcare markets in Mexico and Colombia, with strong experience working with reimbursed products.
  • Proven leadership skills, with experience motivating and managing a high-performing sales team.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking abilities to identify opportunities and create impactful solutions.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in both English and Spanish.
  • Willingness to travel extensively within Mexico and Colombia.

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and execute enterprise strategies.
  • Familiarity with digital solutions and event planning to support sales initiatives.
  • Advanced coaching and mentoring capabilities to foster team development.
