UCC Sales Team Lead
The incumbent will be accountable for the achievement of key sales functional goals at a team level and influences the development and drives the execution of sales plans. This role will work as part of a collaborative team responsible for developing and executing sales strategies that drive customer interest, lead generation, conversion, loyalty, and retention. Above should be sustainable, process driven and is aligned to the regional/global business strategies. Alongside creating segment centric solutions to fulfill unmet needs of customers hence creating highly differentiated brand awareness for BD UCC products.
This incumbent is also responsible for managing account managers who are in charge of the sales for UCC portfolio.

Main Responsibilities
• Deliver sales targets by developing and executing territory and account plans.
• Formulate and implement sales strategies, from launch to maintenance, in line with project plans.
• Set a good example for team members and support their development.
• Achieve sales and profit targets at assigned accounts, including pharmaceutical companies and contract manufacturing organizations.
• Rapidly provide approved product information and related services to customers, highlighting product usage and advantages.
• Manage customer demand, orders, and delivery through supply agreements.
• Oversee key opinion leaders (KOLs) at accounts, providing business and technical information.
• Monitor competition by gathering marketplace information on pricing, products, and delivery schedules.
• Address customer unmet needs and complaints at an early stage.
• Utilize Salesforce.com (SFDC) to manage sales opportunities and activities.
• Qualify leads and develop them into sales opportunities.

• Build strong relationships with distributors and provide guidance and training.
• Educate customers to ensure effective product use.
• Budget and control expenses, adhering to company policies and procedures.
• Prepare sales contracts for new accounts based on company policies.
