As a D365 CE/CRM Marketing Functional Lead, you'll be at the forefront of delivering transformative Customer Engagement solutions that incorporate D365 CRM and D365 Customer Insights - Journeys. You'll guide the functional workstream across all phases of the project lifecycle-from envisioning to implementation-ensuring alignment with client goals and operational excellence.
You'll serve as the primary liaison between clients and delivery teams, leading discovery sessions, defining business processes, and translating requirements into scalable, Microsoft-native solutions. Your leadership will drive collaboration, innovation, and measurable value for our clients. Together we do what matters.

What You'll Do
* Strategic Consulting: Lead business analysis with a focus on outcomes, scalability, and best practices-not just technology.
* Discovery & Requirements: Plan and facilitate workshops to gather, document, and validate business needs.
* Process Design: Map and optimize CE/CRM processes aligned with Dynamics 365 capabilities.
* Backlog Management: Define and refine Epics, Features, and User Stories/Product Backlog Items (PBIs) with clear acceptance criteria.
* Solution Delivery: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure functional requirements are understood and implemented to meet the needs of the client.
* Client Partnership: Partner with client product owner and stakeholders, building trust and driving alignment.
* Cross-Functional Leadership: Coordinate with client, Avanade onshore and offshore teams, to ensure seamless delivery.
* Marketing Integration: Advise on marketing technology solutions and lead the marketing workstream when applicable.
About you
Characteristics that can spell success for this role
* Proven experience in leading full-cycle implementations of Microsoft Dynamics 365 CRM and Marketing
* Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 modules: Customer Insights (Data & Journeys), Sales, Customer Service (nice to have)
* Experience with Dynamics 365 Marketing is required; digital marketing expertise is a plus.
* Excellent communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to translate business needs into functional specifications and solution designs.
* Familiarity with Agile methodologies and backlog management.
* Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in a relevant field.
* Experience managing distributed teams (client/onshore/offshore) is a plus.
