Introduction to the Job

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the future of talent acquisition at ASML. You'll engage in full life cycle recruiting, partnering with hiring managers and stakeholders to attract top talent and deliver exceptional candidate experiences. Your consultative approach, strategic mindset, and proactive sourcing strategies will help drive recruitment excellence and align hiring with business goals.

Role & Responsibilities

  • Execute full life cycle recruiting for manufacturing, complex technical and engineering roles, collaborating closely with hiring managers.
  • Develop and implement effective, data-driven sourcing strategies using multiple channels and tools, including ATS.
  • Conduct in-depth interviews, evaluate candidates' skills and alignment with core values, and manage candidates through the hiring process.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition Coordinators to streamline hiring activities and ensure a positive candidate experience.
  • Mentor team members on offer preparation, candidate experience, and recruitment best practices.
  • Conduct labor market and sourcing channel analysis to inform recruitment plans and align with HR strategy.
  • Initiate and lead recruitment marketing campaigns in collaboration with Employer Branding, acting as a brand ambassador.
  • Build and maintain talent pools for future hiring needs and participate in local events, career fairs, and branding efforts.
  • Advise on assessment tools, manage job offers (including complex reward components), and ensure compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Continuously identify and implement process improvements to enhance recruiting effectiveness and efficiency.
  • Co-create, implement, and track annual recruitment plans for designated business areas, keeping business leaders informed with regular updates.
Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant recruiting experience, including at least 1 year in a corporate recruitment environment.
  • Proven experience in sourcing and recruiting for difficult-to-fill technical roles, preferably within a complex, global organization.
  • Experience mentoring team members and contributing to process improvements.
  • Specialized knowledge of talent acquisition methods, techniques, and processes, with a strong theoretical and practical understanding.
Skills
  • Advanced expertise in recruitment strategies, sourcing techniques, and labor market analysis.
  • Strong stakeholder management, influencing, and communication skills.
  • Ability to interpret and report on internal and external data to drive recruitment decisions.
  • Proficiency in recruitment marketing, employer branding, and use of Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Analytical mindset with attention to process improvement and candidate experience.

  • Flexible, adaptable, and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Experience working with and mentoring team members, and building collaborative relationships with colleagues and candidates.

  • This position is located onsite in San Diego, CA
  • Requires onsite presence for in-person work-related events, trainings, and meetings to foster teamwork, collaboration, and innovation.

  • The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
    $69,750-116,250

    Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.

    The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
