Start your journey at ASML by joining our Management Traineeship Program designed to develop future leaders at ASML. Throughout your first three years of the Management traineeship, you will rotate across multiple departments, gaining broad exposure to both strategic and technical challenges. Role and responsibilities
As a management trainee at ASML, you will rotate through four assignments, each lasting 9 months, gaining experience in areas such as Development & Engineering, Manufacturing, Strategic Sourcing and Procurement, Planning & Delivery, Customer Support, or IT. Each assignment will apply your technical expertise and critical thinking to problem solving.

As a management trainee (in technology), you will:
- Participate in rotational assignments, each with technical components and concrete deliverables.
- Prepare and present findings to management.
- Work in an inclusive environment with projects aimed at enhancing efficiency, innovation, management and/or product development, with focus areas such as ESG sustainability or cost reduction.
- Follow a tailored learning journey to develop your leadership skills, strategic mindset, and interpersonal capabilities.
- Be guided by a senior leader, senior stakeholders from the sectors, and a development coach, who will empower you through your journey at ASML.
- Gain exposure to a global organization through collaborations and connections
- Be a part of a global trainee cohort with peers in the Netherlands and Taiwan. Collaborate with fellow trainees and colleagues at all levels of the organization and build a broad network.
Education and requirements
To succeed as an ASML management trainee, you must perform well under pressure and thrive in a fast-paced environment. You will need:
- A bachelor's or master's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, Chemical, Optical Engineering; Computer Science; Software Engineering; Data Engineering; Physics
- Prior internship experience at ASML or other semiconductor-related company preferred
- Prior experience in leadership positions in clubs or organizations a plus
- Position is based in San Diego, CA and trainees must work the schedule of their rotational group which may require 5 days on site.
- Must be willing to travel 30% of the time - domestically and internationally, including two-3 month project assignments.
- Rotational assignments may require working in a clean room environment, which includes wearing coveralls, hoods, booties, safety glasses and gloves for the entire duration of shift.
- Rotational assignments may require access to customer site locations, which may require flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Other Information
- This position is located on-site. It requires onsite presence to attend in-person work-related events, trainings and meetings and to further ensure teamwork, collaboration and innovation. A flexible workplace arrangement is available for remote work up to two days a week.
- Routinely required to sit; walk; talk; hear; use hands to keyboard, finger, handle, and feel; stoop, kneel, crouch, twist, reach, and stretch. Occasionally required to move around the campus.
- Occasionally lift and/or move up to 20 pounds.
- May require travel (domestic and/or international) dependent on business needs.
- Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus.
The current base annual salary range for this role is currently:
$87,375-131,063
Pay scales are determined by role, level, location and alignment with market data. Individual pay is determined through interviews and an assessment of several factors that that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to job-related skills, relevant education and experience, certifications, abilities of the candidate and pay relative to other team members.
The Company offers employees and their families, medical, dental, vision, and basic life insurance. Employees are able to participate in the Company's 401k plan. Employees will also receive eight (8) hours of vacation leave every month and (13) paid holidays throughout the calendar year.
