As a Payroll & HR Operations Specialist, you will build deep partnerships at a global and local level across EDS to comprehend HR needs. You will aid in the employee life cycle in the Company from payroll and HR perspective. You will provide day-to-day assistance to all employees in the respective area as well as maintain payroll and HR processes in a timely manner. You are eager to develop a solid grasp of HR, payroll, and benefits administration. You are a problem-solver, efficient and precise in your work. You are open and curious, interested in providing the best-in-class experience to any customer.

Your Role

  • comprehensive preparation and maintenance of HR documentation of employees, contractors and foreigners, in particular: documents related to the establishment, course and termination of the employment relationship ( work certificates), registration and deregistration for/from social insurance and health insurance
  • entering, changing and controlling data in the HR and payroll systems; preparation of payroll list
  • settlement of holiday absences, sickness, maternity
  • preparing statements of remuneration and employments
  • answering employees' queries in terms of Labor Law and Payroll legislation, internal procedures
  • maintaining personal files
  • contact with external institutions (US, ZUS, GUS)
  • conducting training for new employees
  • preparing reports and evaluations, presentations for internal purposes
  • continuous work on process improvements and digitalization/ automation
  • daily support of team members with expert knowledge in the field of HR and payroll
  • responsibility and implementation of projects in the area of HR and payroll
  • support in the mentioned responsibilities for countries such as Poland, Ireland, Switzerland, UK

Your Background

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in an independent position Payroll & HR Operations Specialist/Senior in an international and cross-functional environment (calculating remuneration, HR and payroll services for employees based in Poland)
  • Very good knowledge in the areas of: Polish labor law, social security, tax.
  • Very good knowledge of MS Office products (Excel)
  • Very good knowledge of English
  • Experience with ADP and Workday would be an advantage
  • Independence, responsibility, accuracy, punctuality, systematic, good work organization,
  • Ability to work effectively under time pressure

Nice to have

  • Experience in Power BI, PowerQuery, VBA, "HR Project Management", will be big plus
