YOUR ROLE
We are looking for an experienced SAP Basis Lead with in-depth knowledge of complex distributed SAP landscapes. The ideal candidate should be able to maintain the existing landscape and contribute to projects that aim to improve user experience while keeping a close integration with external partners.
• Own the day-to-day operation of the SAP Technical Landscape and its integrations to other Non-SAP systems
• Participate in the design, implementation, and delivery of projects with the aim of keeping the SAP landscape stack up to date
• Manage suppliers to deliver on agreed operational goals and service level agreements
• Provide guidance to solution design teams for implementation of end-to-end technical solutions
• Champion the implementation of solutions to improve the effectiveness of Aptiv's IT operations
• Own the business continuity processes focused on incident management from troubleshooting to resolution and documentation
• Manage the design, documentation, upkeep, and regular testing of Disaster Recovery plans for the SAP Landscape and its ecosystem
YOUR BACKGROUND
• Proven SAP Basis and Infrastructure technical background with extensive experience (10 to 12 years) in technology and vendor management
• Experience with highly available SAP distributed global templates
• Experience with SAP ECC (NetWeaver) and SAP systems hosted on SAP Private Cloud (RISE)
• Experience with middleware integration and non-SAP systems integration
• Proven experience managing outsourced primary and secondary support teams
• Strong track record in incident management focused on business continuity
• Solid understanding of SAP application architecture impact on technical infrastructure
• Ability to create constructive relationships, influence, and communicate (IT management, client management, and non-technical staff)
