Your Role:

As a Quality Engineer within our new cable business unit, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring adherence to company Quality and Customer-specific standards. You will be responsible for analyzing quality, implementing improvement plans, and serving as a liaison between the plant and customers to address quality-related issues. This role requires strong problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining high standards of quality across all aspects of production.

  • Implement and train all areas on company Quality and Customer-specific standards and Key Indicators.
  • Develop and implement improvement plans and monitor their effectiveness.
  • Conduct problem-solving activities and improvement groups based on FTQ (First Time Quality) results and customer complaints.
  • Act as the primary point of contact between the plant and customers or Customer Service Engineers (CSE) regarding quality issues.
  • Coordinate and monitor Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) submissions and provide documentation to customers.
  • Participate in the execution of Process Failure Mode and Effects Analysis (PFMEA) and Control Plans, ensuring accurate documentation and record-keeping.
  • Manage all shop-floor Quality activities related to products and services within the plant.
  • Coordinate correction and prevention activities for problems in products and processes, including those of company suppliers and partners.
  • Facilitate communication between shifts to share "lessons learned" and ensure their implementation.
  • Supervise Quality activities related to the process and product, ensuring compliance with rules and procedures related to Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS).

Your Background :

  • Polymerous or Chemistry Degree with a proven experience in the automotive industry preferably in the manufacturing of coopers.
  • Strong understanding of Quality Management Systems (QMS) and quality tools such as PPAP, Ishikawa, 5S, Pareto, Control plan ...etc
  • Excellent communication in English and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
  • Detail-oriented with a focus on accuracy and continuous improvement.
  • Ability to work under pressure and to prioritize tasks.
  • Familiarity with EHS regulations and their application in a manufacturing setting.
