HRIS Manager - Workday

Aptiv, Dublin are looking for an experienced HRIS leader to drive strategic initiatives and optimize our global Workday platform. In this role, you'll lead critical projects, partner with stakeholders to deliver scalable solutions, and guide a talented team, all while ensuring data integrity, compliance, and continuous improvement across our HR systems.

Note - This is an in-office position

Your role

  • Support and optimize Workday modules including HCM, Recruiting, Compensation, Talent Management, Learning, Absence, and Reporting & Analytics.
  • Lead development and execution of a strategic HRIS roadmap and critical projects.
  • Manage capacity planning and prioritization for HR technology initiatives.
  • Partner with COEs and key stakeholders to implement scalable, automated solutions that improve user experience and efficiency.
  • Supervise a global team of senior HRIS analysts, providing mentorship and performance management.
  • Oversee system maintenance activities with a focus on continuous improvement and adoption of new functionality.
  • Ensure system security, compliance, and data privacy in collaboration with IT and security teams.
  • Identify change management needs and implement tools such as training kits and job aids to support user adoption.
  • Maintain master data governance and validate data quality through reporting and certification programs.
  • Develop and govern policies, procedures, and standards for database management.
  • Collaborate with functional areas and external vendors to identify process improvements, system enhancements, and resolve issues.
  • Report global Workday metrics regularly and provide insights on system health.

Your Background

  • Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration or a related field
  • 3+ years experience of management experience in a Workday HRIS environment.
  • Strong understanding of system design, structure, and administration; system configuration and workflow; user interface design.
  • Experience with various Human Resources processes, particularly in the areas of payroll, talent acquisition, performance management and compliance.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office products.
  • Extensive knowledge in Microsoft Excel; familiar with advanced functionality such as complex formulas, pivot tables, vlookups, etc.
  • Production Support experience using incident management system
