Key Responsibilities
- Provide sustaining support for deployed Test Fixtures to minimize downtime and customer impact.
- Coordinate and perform scheduled preventive maintenance (PM) and calibration activities; follow up on out-of-tolerance (OOT) issues as required.
- Collaborate with Test Engineers and business unit (BU) customers to deploy new test fixtures.
- Initiate evaluation, design, and project management of test fixture projects; seek assistance when needed.
- Document and track deployment issues to closure; initiate engineering change requests as necessary.
- Apply engineering and DFx principles to estimate and reduce development costs while improving fixture quality.
- Develop and execute test procedures; assist in defining test specifications with design, software, and manufacturing engineering teams.
- Support coordination and/or execution of test fixture sourcing activities.
- Collect operational and test data, analyze results, and implement corrective or continuous improvement actions.
- Review and improve work methods, procedures, and policies; maintain accurate documentation of current practices.
- Perform root cause analysis and corrective actions for design and deployment issues; prepare failure analysis reports as required.
- Conduct Process Failure Mode, Effects, and Criticality Analysis (PFMECA) for new product and fixture development.
- Able to Travel oversea for Test Fixtures deployment up to 2 weeks.
- Able to work independently during test fixture deployment at Contract Manufacturers site.
Education & Experience
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Minimum 2-3 years of experience in test engineering, fixture design, or related roles in a manufacturing or high-tech environment.
Technical Skills
- Strong knowledge of test fixture design, preventive maintenance, and calibration processes.
- Familiarity with DFx principles and cost-reduction strategies.
- Proficient in root cause analysis, failure analysis, and corrective action implementation.
- Experience with PFMECA and risk assessment for new product development.
- Ability to develop and execute test procedures and specifications.
- Competent in data collection, analysis, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Soft Skills
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and collaboration abilities to work with cross-functional teams.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines independently.
Other Requirements
- Willingness to travel overseas for test fixture deployment (up to 2 weeks).
- Ability to work independently at contract manufacturer sites during deployments.
