The ideal candidate is an experienced professional with project origination and asset management qualifications in water resources, nature-based solutions, and water supply, sanitation and hygiene (WASH) with detailed knowledge of water issues (quantity, quality regulatory) worldwide. We develop and manage Apple's global real estate portfolio, lead all related capital construction projects, provide outstanding facilities and site services, develop and lead sustainability initiatives to reduce the environmental impact of all Apple facilities, including commute and renewable energy programs, and do everything we can to ensure the health and safety of all Apple personnel, facilities, and customers in our facilities around the world.

The Watershed Resilience Program Manager will be responsible for the management of water stewardship projects under the Global Energy & Sustainability Team's ongoing Corporate Watershed Resilience Program (see Apple's Water Strategy for more), as well as for sourcing, negotiating, and closing new water stewardship projects. With Apple's commitment to replenish freshwater withdrawals from high stress locations by 2030, the team is focused on building a portfolio of water stewardship projects that deliver improved availability of water at the time, place, and quality needed for people and ecosystems.

The Watershed Resilience Program Manager will lead the Corporate Water Program's Watershed Resilience and WASH stewardship projects, while supporting Apple's broader efforts under its Water Strategy.

","responsibilities":"In this role the Manager will source, evaluate and structure projects to meet Program goals globally, while overseeing the management of existing projects, including verification and contractual obligations, and supporting the scoping of new projects in APAC and EMEIA. The candidate must be able to see projects through to completion, and able to grasp new technologies, approaches and financial mechanisms with ease.

Preferred Qualifications

Master's degree strongly preferred

Demonstrated project management experience and follow-through

Working relationships with NGOs, water utilities and scientists in the water sector

Strong relationships with organizations and experts in developing restoration and WASH projects in regional markets

Strong project management and time management skills to complete multiple priorities in a fast-paced global setting

Ability to influence without authority; strong interpersonal & communication skills across multiple disciplines

Ability to thrive in ambiguous settings requiring minimal supervision

Strong quantitative and financial modeling skills
