Cloud Infrastructure team, as part of the Apple Services Engineering team, is seeking an extraordinary engineering program manager (EPM) that can help our Storage team deliver innovative product solutions that will shape the future of large scale infrastructure at Apple.

We are building and supporting critical infrastructural systems and frameworks which provide and support services like structured and unstructured storage for Apple Cloud Infrastructure, which is the platform upon which many iCloud and other backend systems at Apple are built; they have huge scale and store exabytes of data.

You'll partner with a diverse set of teams across Apple to provide them with groundbreaking infrastructure for Storage that operate at substantial scale and use open source technologies along with proprietary systems.

You will listen to different perspectives, help surface innovative ideas, and drive decisions that move us forward.

You'll need a strong background in program and project management complemented by your technical abilities.

Preferred Qualifications

Exceptional organizational, project management, and technical acumen

Prior engineering, infrastructure experience a plus

Knowledge of distributed Storage, Distributed Databases, or similar mass-scale Distributed Systems is a huge plus

Agile project experience with evidence and able to demonstrate knowledge

SCRUM background and/or played the role of a Scrum Master is plus

Self-motivated and proactive with demonstrated creative and critical thinking capabilities

Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills

Past experience with containers/storage would be a plus

Strong verbal and written communication skills to represent at all levels of the organization

Ability to manage multiple simultaneous end to end infrastructure, technical projects and stakeholder community comprising of various engineering teams and their partners

Experience at end to end project delivery; building roadmaps through to operational sustainability

Strong facilitation skills (requirements sessions, design meetings, progress and status meetings)

Minimum Qualifications

8+ years experience in software development project management for Storage - Structured or unstructured / Infrastructure domains

Agile project experience with evidence and able to demonstrate knowledge

Experience managing Cloud and Infrastructure projects.

Experience at prioritizing features and technical road maps

Proficiency and experience in delivering large scale infrastructure projects

BA/BS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related technical degree or relevant industry experience
