We are searching for a highly motivated, passionate, and organized Logistics Operations Specialist to join our team in supporting day-to-day logistics operations within a dynamic data center environment. This is an ideal opportunity for someone who is detail-oriented, collaborative, and ready to take the next step in a logistics or warehousing career.

Description

In this role, you'll coordinate shipping, pallet loading/unloading, staging, receiving, processing, quality assurance (PQA), and storage activities while providing basic leadership and guidance to logistics team members.

Partner with internal teams-such as Deployment, Break Fix, Integration, Facilities, Asset Management, Purchasing, and Planning-to fulfill logistics requirements

Train and onboard new logistics personnel, ensuring understanding of workflows, safety guidelines, and company policies

Lead the development and ongoing maintenance of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Work Instructions to ensure process consistency and operational clarity

Serve as a subject matter expert (SME) by compiling and delivering operational reports to management

Contribute to root cause analysis efforts and support continuous improvement initiatives

Proactively escalate operational issues or risks to site leadership

Foster a clean, safe, and organized work environment that supports team efficiency and safety

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with ERP tools, scanners, or inventory tracking software

Awareness of material handling safety procedures and dock operations best practices

Strong organizational skills with a high level of attention to detail

Clear and effective verbal and written communication abilities

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative, and team-oriented environment

Foundational understanding of inventory management systems and related tools

Familiarity with Lean principles, 5S methodology, or other continuous improvement practices

Demonstrated willingness to provide peer guidance and informal leadership within a professional environment

Eagerness to learn, develop professionally, and grow into roles of increased responsibility

Minimum Qualifications

Associate's degree in Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, Business Administration, General Studies with relevant coursework; or equivalent job related experience.

Experience in warehousing, inventory control, supply chain, logistics or similar

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds waist high
