You will play a critical role in leading and defining the future direction of our Retail Stores. This role will lead the teams that define strategic initiatives to improve our customer experience and drive customer loyalty.
As the Global Director of Retail Store Experience and Programs, you are responsible for collaborating with business partners worldwide and cross functionally to design and deliver programs and strategies that elevate the team and customer experience, attract new customers and build loyalty with existing customers. The successful candidate will play a meaningful role in providing insight, guidance, and direction to the team, partners and leadership to drive innovation and deliver successful business results. Key cross-functional partners include Retail Operations, Store teams, Apple Store Online, Retail Engagement Marketing & Merchandising, Real Estate, People, Finance and more.","responsibilities":"Create retail and customer experience strategies and building innovative solutions and identify continuous improvement opportunities to deliver on business goals
Gain a comprehensive understanding of in-store performance and effectively use metrics, data, and analysis to inform critical initiatives and opportunities. Regularly present findings and strategies to executive audiences.
Partner globally and cross-functionally to understand broader market dynamics, challenges and opportunities for our Retail Stores to inform strategies and key operational program optimizations. Communicate ideas in a way that gains consensus and builds partnership.
Lead and guide the team to deliver complex projects. Develop project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates; acquire executive approval and funding.
Foster a customer-centric approach to problem-solving, demonstrating profound passion and comprehension of customer needs and the in-store employee experience.
Preferred Qualifications
Strong strategic storytelling and presentation skills with proven experience presenting to executive audience.
Master's degree in relevant field (MBA a plus) or equivalent experience.
Minimum Qualifications
10+ years of People Leadership experience in a strategic role with experience in establishing vision, goals and developing strategic and tactical execution plans.
15+ years of experience in retail operations, retail strategy, or a related corporate field.
Highly strategic with expert knowledge of the global retail industry, commerce and omni channel trends.
Proven Ability to prioritize, plan, delegate and implement strategies, programs and projects optimally; successfully navigating and executing in corporate structures.
Keen analysis of data and information, understand sales performance and identify trends and opportunities.
Passionate people manager that enables a culture of performance by building capabilities of individuals and teams through effective employee development, involvement, communication and mentoring.
Business travel as needed.
