As a Revenue Training & Development manager, you will drive expertise within our Revenue teams through the creation and evolution of engaging content. This role involves delivering impactful training sessions, mastering and teaching AppFolio products and processes, and owning a comprehensive onboarding program. The ideal candidate will have a background in sales training programs, leverage L&D best practices, and measure the effectiveness of training initiatives. Strong communication, prioritization, and tech-forward approaches are required.

- Serve as the primary project manager and facilitator for sales new hire training

Educate and reinforce the Challenger sales methodology, establishing a common sales language and approach across Revenue
Collaborate with leadership and leverage data to address rep skill gaps and further develop skills
Bring thought leadership to the training strategy for the employee lifecycle by segment and role
Develop and maintain training assets to provide a cohesive and relevant learning experience and track learner competencies via an LMS
Manage new employee ramp processes, keeping them on track with the training schedule.
Build and deliver scaled trainings to revenue org team members.
- Build e-courses utilizing Rise Articulate, Synthesia and Iorad
- Grade and conduct assessments to understand learner performance and share key observations with leadership and the learner
- Deliver live sessions (in person and via Zoom) with high charisma and acumen
- Design presentations that are visually interesting, yet clear for the learner
- Develop a product and skills competency matrix to identify skill gaps and development opportunities
- Facilitate the ongoing success of key operational programs which may include performance analysis and reporting, process/quality management, and/or system maintenance and enhancement
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree required
- Rise Articulate experience
- Experience with the Challenger sales methodology
- Ability to travel 10-20% to office Hubs
- Former sales experience in a quota carrying role
Must have
- 7+ years of experience in SaaS in a sales function or supporting sales teams
- 3+ years in supporting sales teams
- Previously delivered sales methodology to teams
Compensation & Benefits
The base salary that we reasonably expect to pay for this role is: $104,000 - $130,000.
The actual base salary/hourly wage for this role will be determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to: the candidate’s skills, education, experience, etc.
Please note that base pay is one important aspect of a compelling Total Rewards package. The base pay range indicated here does not include any additional benefits or bonuses/commissions that you may be eligible for based on your role and/or employment type.
