The Surprising (and Fun!) Way to Get More Creative Today
Hear former CEO and business leader Sallie Krawcheck's secret to upping her creativity.

Finding inspiration and energy can be tough, especially while juggling what feels like a hundred responsibilities at once. You’ve read all about how to regain productivity, but what if those ideas aren’t working for you anymore?

Sometimes, it’s the most surprising activity that can give us that extra boost we need. Sallie Krawcheck, business leader at Ellevate Network and former Wall Street executive, suggests that finding that major spark of creativity can come from spending time with family. Harnessing the positive energy from people you love can inspire you to see things in new ways and leave you feeling invigorated to accomplish that lingering task.

Krawcheck shares that spending an hour playing with her young son leaves her with “clearer and better research insights” and “out-of-the-box ideas that can make a career,” but this same tactic can be applied to spending time with your pets or friends. Anything that allows you to “intellectually relax” can help you find that spark.

Watch this great clip below to hear more from Krawcheck, including her “single most necessary ingredient for success.”
