There’s more to IT than you think at the global life sciences company Labcorp. “We are trying to leverage AI, and machine learning, and data science so that we can take this information coming from our half million specimens a day and convert that into insights for our providers and our patients,” says Jessie, the Senior Director of Transformational Technology.
The IT team also helped transform the company’s customer service system, which receives 12 million calls every year. As a former Labcorp call center agent, Syreeta—now an IT business analyst—understands the importance of this firsthand.
