GPS Operations Transformation Healthcare Quality Analyst Lead

Work you'll do

The Quality Team is responsible for verifying the completeness and accuracy of clinical documentation. This team confirms that the documentation is complete and accurate in accordance with established standards. In this role, the Quality Analyst Team Lead will partner with project team members in conjunction with medical examiners to submit quality reports in a timely manner.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct reviews of medical exam documentation in accordance with established medical and legal requirements
  • Verify all requests have been fully addressed following appropriate clinical and diagnostic procedures
  • Interact with healthcare professionals to provide report-specific feedback and assist in resolving discrepancies prior to submission
  • Follow all processes and procedures related to program operations and safeguarding of personally identifiable information / personal health information
  • Consistently meet individual productivity and quality goals
  • Actively participate in team meetings and apply feedback/process updates
  • Demonstrate adaptability and accept change in a positive and proactive manner
  • Collaborating and assisting with training/mentoring/coaching of QA Team members
  • Supervise a team of 15-20 QA team members
  • Track throughput, attendance, and quality of direct reports and provide detailed feedback and coaching
  • Setup and lead virtual team huddles and virtual individual one-on-one meetings with QA team members
  • Monitor and solution escalations from workflows across the project
  • Receive and make inbound/outbound calls

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 1+ years' experience conducting quality assurance
  • 1+ years' healthcare or medical experience with intermediate knowledge of medical terminology
  • Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the future
  • Ability to travel 25% or more based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serve

Preferred:

  • Experience leading or supervising teams
  • Proven ability to organize, prioritize and coordinate tasks
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work in an ambiguous and fast-paced environment
  • Comfortable with new technology systems
  • Proven ability to professionally communicate in a virtual setting with an inclusive and positive
