Lead Producer/Lead Project Manager, Central Technology

Zynga is looking for a highly motivated Lead Producer to manage multiple programs and projects in our Central Technology team. This position will be based in our Zynga Toronto studio.

He or she will work closely with engineering leadership, product management, other project managers and game/partner teams to balance a set of commitments and milestones to predictable execution, facilitating tough tradeoffs along the way. Tactical enough to dive deep on daily execution, proactively spot areas for improvement, then energetically drive those improvements broadly, resulting in all peers feeling collaboratively led into changes that solve confusion, miscommunication and differing expectations.

Responsibilities

Provide senior-level project /program management for multiple critical engineering projects, within our payments and player analysis groups.
Ability to drive product development and ensure deliverables are on time, within budget and at the required level of quality.
Anticipates challenges and course-corrects as needed on the fly.
Partners closely with engineering leaders, product managers and other producers to deliver outstanding products and services.
Ensure clear project definition and criteria for completion.
Lead technical scrums and agile project implementation.
Initiate, foster, maintain and manage others toward positive working relationships with internal and external organizations critical to both current and future development process.
Passionately articulate goals and team principles to help form a stimulating and fun work environment and culture.

Required Skills:

9+ years of program/project management experience.
5+ years of experience in a Lead Project/Program Management role in the tech industry.
4+ years agile development experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work in a team environment with maturity and leadership.
Proven ability to resolve conflict and strong negotiation skills.

Preferred Skills:
5+ years of experience in the game industry.
Computer science or technical degree.
Agile certifications.
