Data Analyst, Revenue Operations

The Revenue Operations Analyst will be responsible for strategic & operational support for the fast growing Consumer Products and Revenue (CPR) Team.
This role will drive reporting, perform financial analysis and assist in the development of operating processes & systems.  The role will also assist in planning, directing, and coordinating various revenue projects.   Strong analytical, organizational, and communications skills are required, along with the ability to handle multiple projects with quick delivery cycles.

  • Review, analyze, process and make recommendations on purchase orders
  • Create clear and concise reporting and performance dashboards to key constituents of the CPR Team
  • Effectively evaluate the revenue programs and retailer performance
  • Perform key analysis and opportunity sizing for international and domestic expansion
  • Quantify business impact, prioritize, and scope resources required for promotional opportunities
  • Assist in development of CPR program projections
  • Monitor program results and make recommendations for improvements
  • Interact with finance on accounting/finance and payments on relevant operational issues
  • Set goals and objectives and develop realistic project plans for partner promotions
  • Work with various teams to set up testing plan and execution timelines
  • Drive resolution of day to day operational issues while managing ongoing operational processes
  • Manage revenue system tools  (UPC and Promo Tools)
  • Assist in creation of Presentation slides and Business Requirement Documents as needed
  • Coordinate with key internal and external stakeholders to execute on projects
  • Meet with product and support teams to drive operational efficiencies
  • Help drive scale and client service excellence through best practices, tool requirements and process improvements.  Work cross-functionally to lead and impact improvements 
Required Skills:

  • Bachelor’s degree in math, statistics, computer science, or equivalent work experience
  • Some experience with database schema design (best practices for table design, index usage, etc.)
  • Intermediate SQL skills (specifically, MySQL experience would be a major plus)
  • Some familiarity with a general-purpose programming language (prior experience with one of PHP, Java, C++, C or C# would be nice, though not required)
  • Data modelling/analysis experience in at least one of R, Python, Excel
  • Knowledge and applications of different statistical tests and experiment design
  • Prior experience with Python is strongly preferred
  • Git experience would be an asset
  • Comfortable working in a Mac OS X or Linux environment, and bash knowledge would be useful
  • Accounting/finance/marketing background would be a huge bonus
  • Ability to identify differences between various data sources quickly and effectively
