Global Manager, Retail Training

Responsibilities for the role include:

  • Function is the global training lead for rapidly scaling multi-country retail business focused on craft and specialty beer-centric concepts
  • Function as internal owner of training center of excellence. Key types of retail projects include:
    • Large Scale Brewpubs
    • Pubs
    • Small bars/ kiosks
  • Develop and implement training programs that drive knowledge of beer, our brands, service and drive employee engagement
  • Partner with agencies and technology firms to create innovative training tools that can span multiple countries
  • Define, track, and deliver on training and customer experience KPI’s
  • Define project plans and details of pilot and scale-up initiatives and deliver on time, in budget and with project specific KPI’s
  • Build operating teams & right culture to support ongoing successful management of training programs
  • Implement systems to track and monitor the training in company operated outlets and implement corrective actions if/as needed
  • Develop operational tools and standards to ensure successful execution of training

  • University Degree required
  • Experience (4+ years) in hospitality or retail operations or experience developing employee training programs required
  • Superior project management skills and comfort leading multiple projects in fast paced environment
  • Strong process orientation
  • Solid analytical skills and ability to diagnose operational, financial and process gaps and mitigate
  • Strong communication, leadership skills and ability to train people from management to line level
  • Alignment with ABI culture
  • Passion for hospitality and retail with a nimble, move fast, and “execution” mindset
  • Entrepreneurial experience a plus
