Zoox has embarked on a highly-ambitious journey to develop a full-stack autonomous mobility solution for our cities.Zoox’s Hardware-in-the-Loop team integrates our self-driving software with our dedicated hardware, making sure that our sensors, compute, and software work seamlessly together. Our Software HIL team is critical to ensuring that the software running on all of our vehicles functions correctly and safely.
To achieve effective offline testing of our driving platform, our virtual fleet must mirror our physical fleet of vehicles as closely as possible.The responsibility of the Test Platform Development role in our team is to develop high-fidelity testing platforms by incorporating all of the critical components of our vehicle’s hardware and software and to work cross-functionally with other teams at Zoox to increase the completeness of our integration testbeds. This will require a high-level understanding of the overall system design and component interaction to help guide requirements and methodology for future functional and safety sign-off while providing support to teams using these new platforms.

Qualifications
- 4+ years of industry experience
- Skilled in Python and eexperience in large code bases. Knowledge of C++ is a plus.
- Familiarity with hardware considerations including power, thermal, and signal integrity
- Experience with integration testing and test plan design
- Ability to understand complex hardware/software systems and interactions
- Ability to collaborate cross-functionally to achieve project goals and contribute to a positive problem-solving environment
Bonus Qualifications
- Experience in both C++ and Python
- Experience with safety-critical systems
- Linux operating system fundamentals, system architecture knowledge, devices
Compensation
There are three major components to compensation for this position: salary, Amazon Restricted Stock Units (RSUs), and Zoox Stock Appreciation Rights. The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $220,000. A sign-on bonus may be offered as part of the compensation package. Compensation will vary based on geographic location and level. Leveling, as well as positioning within a level, is determined by a range of factors, including, but not limited to, a candidate's relevant years of experience, domain knowledge, and interview performance. The salary range listed in this posting is representative of the range of levels Zoox is considering for this position.

Vaccine Mandate
