About the role
As the Senior Manager, Digital Content Strategy, you will play a pivotal role in shaping and executing Zillow's content strategy while overseeing the marketing technology stack that powers our initiatives. Your work will directly impact both our external customers and internal teams by driving the development of a unified help center and optimizing content delivery. You will lead a team of creative and analytical professionals, manage and enhance our martech (marketing technology) and AI tools, and ensure our content initiatives align with business objectives and deliver measurable results.

You Will Get To
- Develop and execute comprehensive content strategies that align with Zillow's business goals and brand voice.
- Lead the creation and long-term success of a unified help center for external customers and support internal content delivery for frontline teams.
- Champion content governance frameworks to ensure brand consistency and alignment across all channels.
- Manage content calendars, workflows, and delivery processes for efficient and scalable production.
- Foster a culture of creativity and performance within your team, encouraging collaboration across marketing, product, sales, support, and customer success.
- Build feedback loops and analyze performance data to deliver actionable insights and drive continuous improvement.
- Partner with IT and data teams to ensure seamless integration and data flow between marketing systems and other platforms.
- Oversee the selection, implementation, and optimization of content technology tools, including generative AI, chatbots, automation, analytics, and content management systems.
This role has been categorized as a Remote position. "Remote" employees do not have a permanent corporate office workplace and, instead, work from a physical location of their choice, which must be identified to the Company. U.S. employees may live in any of the 50 United States, with limited exceptions.
In California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC the standard base pay range for this role is $139,800.00 - $223,200.00 Annually. This base pay range is specific to California, Colorado, Connecticut, Hawaii, Illinois, Maryland, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Nevada, New Jersey, New York, Rhode Island, Vermont, Washington state, and Washington DC and may not be applicable to other locations.
In addition to a competitive base salary this position is also eligible for equity awards based on factors such as experience, performance and location. Actual amounts will vary depending on experience, performance and location.
Who you are
- 10+ years of experience in content strategy, including at least 2 years in a management role.
- Demonstrated leadership in content strategy across multiple channels and formats, with a strong portfolio and experience managing high-volume outputs and tight deadlines.
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience working with contact center frontline teams, technical support, or large-scale digital/social media content agencies is strongly preferred.
- Proven ability to create and execute content strategies that drive engagement and business growth.
- Skilled in marketing technology, including building workflows, dashboards, and integrating content management and publishing platforms.
- Strong analytical skills with a data-driven mindset to measure and optimize content performance.
- Effective project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple content streams and priorities.
- Collaborative approach, with experience working across creative and technical teams.
